I like the look of this one.

However, I do think it would look cool if it pulsated ever so slightly...a full cycle slower than a relaxed breath. Not so much changing color as just getting a bit brighter and darker...just slightly. Almost not noticable if you know what I mean. Maybe 3 frames or so to increase brightness...then pause...then 3 frames to decrease brightness...then pause.

Here's one slowed down a bit...still a red-to-yellow transition, but I'll play with it more a bit later. I'm currently lacking a mouse. Heh. Next one will hopefully go from black to red, instead of red to yellow. Soon, soon.

That's not a Nexus icon, it's the icon for IPS which is just the default for this forum software. Maybe start a contest for a general Nexus favicon - it's long overdue :whistling:

Is it wrong to be more inclined towards that robot eye-thing from Flight of the Navigator? Sure, it's a totally random reference which would be lost on most, but is a bit less cliche than Hal. No good images for it though, downside of being a 3rd rate 80's movie.

 

Or maybe Max Headrom...

 

Yeah... That decade did an awful lot of impressing upon my (then) young mind.

Here is a pic of the sitebot doll i just made. I was trying to move the pivots for the constraints but its hard with a robot that has ball socket joints, but i have an idea to change the skeleton that i think will work.

Yeah! U are right I would have been able to use the logo on the hat if there was one. He is wearing a niftools hat right now.
