strokethebigtree
Hi, I'm new here, please forgive me if I accidentally break a rule or do something stupid... I haven't noticed this until I installed Immersive Interface, but I noticed that my game window bumps all UIs down a bit. It adds a bit of empty space on top, but cuts off the bottom 50 or so pixels from all of my UI's, and its really bothering Immersive Interface's bottom-aligned icons. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've attached screenshot showing the difference between others' screens and my own, if it helps. Red marks the gaps made/removed from my UIs. Please, someone help me out. It's really annoying me.

Tiberiu911
Did you tried re-installing your mods that alter the character screen? Did you tried changing resolution, to something your monitor supports? Im not sure if this could be the factor, but you just dont use widescreen on a normal square monitor. It is true that this post doesn't add much and is kind of an off-topic rant. ^^; The right people to answer your question aren't always around at the time your thread is active. The anti-bumping rules do allow you to bump your own thread if it hasn't been answered for a week or more - you can always try that.
Guest Tessera
This issue can be solved by adjusting a couple of parameters in your Oblivion.ini file. Be sure to change the version of the file that is located in your /Documents and Settings/My Documents/...etc etc folder... NOT the version that is located in the main Oblivion folder (that's just a default backup copy that the game uses for reference, when it's first installed). The actual working copy of Oblivion.ini is the one that's located in roughly the same place as your gamesave files. Search the Oblivion.ini file for the following lines: iSafeZoneX=iSafeZoneY=iSafeZoneXWide=iSafeZoneYWide= Those four lines determine where the HUD is located on your screen. I think the default for each is a value of either 10 or 20 pixels, which is rather obtrusive and can interfere with some of the UI mods that are popular. Reducing those 4 variables to the following values can often fix the problem: iSafeZoneX=5iSafeZoneY=5iSafeZoneXWide=5iSafeZoneYWide=5 Those values will place the HUD noticeably lower and further to the left on your screen than the default values normally would. Based upon the screenshots that you've provided, I believe this is where your problem is. 8)
OmniDeath
this thread seems similar to my problem soo.... as you can see the map is cut off on the left side, but then begins to repaet on the right side of the screen, can that be fixed? also, my hud is running of the bottom of the screen...http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k56/Omni_Death/ScreenShot12.jpghttp://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k56/Omni_Death/ScreenShot13.jpg
Guest Tessera
Omnideath, So far as your HUD being totally whacked (and it is), try checking the Oblivion.ini settings that I listed in my previous reply. Adjust those 4 values until you have the HUD in a position that you are comfortable with. Now.. your map... Are you using any map mods..? You know... like the ones that try to squeeze more of the map into the map window..? If so, then I think what you're seeing is related to your screen resolution in-game. More info wouild be helpful. :D
OmniDeath
the only mod im using that might do that would be Phinix Immersive DarkUI, which also changed the hud after i installed it. i dont know what other info you need...i am using a widescreen monitor so that could be effecting it. (and yes, i am using the wide screen resolution)

The HUD location is able to be adjusted, however. Good luck and let me know if there's anything else that I can help with. 8)
