VesemirTheWitcher
Hi, my mouse is totally wrecked right now (lolz) and i haven't got the faintest idea what to replace it with.i mostly use my mouse for gaming, but i do a bit of office work too.my previous (and dead) mouse was an A4TECH X6-35WD http://price.ua/img/newcat/289/midl/a4tech_x5_35wd_1.jpgX6-35WD features:double click button (I'm addicted to it :( )two scrolling wheels (not necessary, I'm good with just one)two side-buttons (it's existence is thoroughly encouraged, but is not necessary) if you have no recommendations, just tell me what mouse you're using right now, and say what you like about it. this info will help me a lot. thanks in advance,-Ves EDIT:Notable brands (so far) are:RoccatRazerLogitechCyber snipaMicrosoftA4techSteel Series Edited December 25, 2010 by vesemir the witcher
SandsOfTime404
I use the Razer - Imperator. It's got all the information in that link. I'm rather fond of it. Works well and doesn't have more buttons than I'll ever need that just get in the way.
TheCalliton
laptop mousepad, go out, buy a laptop, and hook it up to your computer :Pnah, i use a plain old mouse when i feel like it, all that fancy stuff gets in the way
CommanderCrazy
Bah, Razer mice are overpriced and rather useless.I recommend a Roccat Kone [+]. Much better and cheaper, and has a double click button, 16000DPI, Patent TDCU (which takes a photo of the surface you're using it on to maximise the laser's efficiency) and the list of awsome goes on. Also a lot cheaper than a Razer mouse that has a lot less DPI, and 2 thumb buttons and a scroll wheel as it's redeeming features. :DAll is entirely customisable too. As in you can map the buttons for when you're not in game. Roccat Studios EDIT, read my sig for closing info. Edited December 24, 2010 by CommanderCrazy

CommanderCrazy
Really, it is an extremely good mouse. If I could get Testimonials from everyone who owned or has owned them you would be sold in an instant

CommanderCrazy
Kone [+] is a laser mouse. Didn't I say that before?
SandsOfTime404
I feel like I'm listening to a sales pitch. Either way the Razer gets done what I need it to, at only 400dpi less than the Roccat. Also the suggested 79.99 € retail value on the Roccat is roughly $25USD more than the Razer. Don't get me wrong, it seems like a nice mouse but I feel that there's a lot of extra features in there I sure won't be using and spending another $25 on unused features isn't something I'd want to do. I suppose in the end it depends on preference though.
CommanderCrazy
Well, that's you. I'm sure my friend Vesemir will use every single feature of this mouse. (Sure it takes time to learn it, but once you have, you'll have immense power in your hand) But I'm sure that the Razer is a good mouse in it's own way, but as you said, personal preference.
