Keanumoreira
My family personally doesn't, but it would be nice to learn which ones from Nexus do. Hey, maybe I'll get some ideas to start one myself...

Deleted54170User
Dad put up the lights which had huge bulbs since he was an Electronic Engineer. He or Mom started popping popcorn and we children strung the kernels on a thread that we strung all the way around it several times from the top to the bottom. Lastly we put tinsel on each branch until we got so pent up with the doldrums we started flinging the little strands at the tree. Each year one of us got the honor to put the star on top. Usually the newest member of the family, who, Dad lifted up and held over head while the star got dropped and picked up several times. After we made a good icy looking green tree he would turn on the lights and we would all have to say good night and go to bed. I never saw they do it, but I heard from the older children that Mom and Dad sneaked the presents out of the closet after we all were in bed. My first Christmas I could have sworn I saw a big guy in a red suit, with a white mustache, beard, and hair underneath a fur crowned hat with a red pointed beany. I asked the other children if Dad hired someone to come in and pretend. I not going to repeat what they said, because, "It is Christmas Eve."************ MERRY CHRISTMAS *****************

Deleted54170User
I'd eat the popcorn too. As many of the kernels broke as the pin was being pushed through, while we did it, many got eaten. And all of them did appear to look like little puffs of snow around the tree. Well, that is, until a group of little children caught Dad picking off one, or two, and we all participated in a frenzy starting at the bottom of the tree and ate them.
