Need help to learne how to work with these mods

Hi there guys i like to get the demon race to work but i'm not sure how to get it to work please help.

Umm, what mod is this specifically? I've never used it so having the exact name and perhaps a link to it may help figure out the problem. Make sure you installed it properly too. Sometimes it's just user error.

Because I don't know just how much you know about installing mods I'll start from the beginning.

There are two files you need to download for this mod: the cosmetic pack and main files. Both are found at the top of the list on the files tab in the link you provided.

And before continuing note that this might not all apply to you, depending on your operating system. This is the defaults for Windows XP but close enough for the accursed Vista and Seven.

Go into your program files folder (My computer > Local disk (C:) > Program files) and look for the folder Bethesda Softworks. You might get a message about not wanting to edit the contents of some of these folders, this is for people who don't know what they're doing; ignore it. In the Bethesda Softworks folder, go into Oblivion, and then find the folder Data. Place "Demon Race - Cosmetic Pack .bsa" from the cosmetic pack download into this folder. This is a .bsa file and contains many different files that apply to the mod.

Leave that "data" folder open and open the other file you downloaded. Place the "Meshes" folder into your data folder, as well as DemonRace.bsa and DemonRace.esp. You might be asked if you should overwrite or merge some files when you move the meshes folder in, just click "Yes to all". The meshes folder contains .nif files, which make up shapes and animations. The .esp tells the game what to do with all of these files.

You might also want to look at the optional ESP folder; this contains some other options such as flying.

well i have tryed all i can but still now head an wings.

 

Just so you know my system hase 4 cores running at 3.3 Ghz with 2 Gbs DDR 3 1333 an my OS is XP an i did get the lattes updats for Oblivion all the other mods work but this one at this point.
