wolron
A lady is standing on the path and when you talk to her she claims that she lost a ring in the pond. There is also an invisible fellow close by that will not talk to you. I dive in and find no ring. And I really hunted well. Is there a ring? I noticed on some other threads that there is a ring and you are attacked by the lady when you come out of the pond. [is there another ponds close by that I am missing??] Why can't I find the ring. Is it obvious or near impossible to find? I am wondering if my game is just a little buggy here.
Switch
Yes, there is a ring, it's damned impossible to find without RCC4MW (colour config by Daerk) as underwater is so misty and the ring's so small. Try setting gamma to maximum...
Acoran
Actualy, I foudna rellitivly simple way to do it. You pick a spot in the pond and go under water there. The right click to bring out you menu stuff. Double click on the ttiel of each to make it go away. Then look around and because it is paused you can't drwon, meanwhile if you thnk you found it you can move your curser over it and find out. Or would you rather I just tell you about where it is. Spoiler.... AS you walk towards the pond, down the hill, there is a big rock to your left. Once in the water go over by the rock and there shoudl be 2 plants benith you. I believe(acting on memory here) the ring is somewhere between the 2.

Malchik
And if you don't want a permanent journal entry for an unsolved quest you've actual done, check out the pinned info above.
wolron
Malchik: I did not understand what you were getting at. ____________________________________________And if you don't want a permanent journal entry for an unsolved quest you've actual done, check out the pinned info above.______________________________________ What is pinned info above??? And how can you have an unsolved quest if you actually did it?
Malchik
Apologies if I was not clear. Pinned at the top of spoilers section, among other things, is how to complete certain quests that often leave an 'open' journal entry, even though you have done it. Believe me there are several such quests. I'm still working on how to 'finish' some. To get rid of the entry for 'The Lady's ring', you have to behave in a particular way. You may have done so and not had the problem. However it is very easy to end up with an open journal entry on this quest.
Adrian Laguna
In my opinion the most easy and fast way to get the ring is to simply enter the console and type in "twf" without the quotes. This will remove all textures and the ring will be really easy to spot in the pond.
