Guild Mods

I think that if you don't want to be the good guy you should not have to. All guilds in oblivion have an enemy like the mages guild fights the necromancers, if you don't want to be the good guy in the mages guild you should be able to be a necromancer or instead of the Blades you can be mythic dawn. well, some have already been done

for instance, there is a huge mod called The Path Of Dawn (i think this is the name) that is a different main quest line, for those who want to play the evil way

and there are also mods like the Necromancer Guild (not sure exactly the name of it, but it allows you to play for the necromancers)

 

i would suggest you to go to the TESNexus, click on Browse Categories, and choose Guilds and Factions (i think that it's the name)

you will find that many have already been made

im pretty sure they already have mods for things like that there are thousands of mods for ovbivion, keep that in mind.

well, since i am in a good mood, i decided to spare you the search, and give you the links to the mods you had in mind

as for the Dark Brother hood, it doesn't really have an enemy

and the Thieves Guild, well, i'm sure that there are plenty of mods that allows you to side with the Imperial Guard, though i don't recall any specific mod

but i don't think there is any mod that allows you to play against the Thieves Guild

Okay well thank you I guess talking about mods is difficult because there is already thousands and most of the mod ideas I have seen on here have already been made a lot of other ideas I have had I've already seen created. yeah, new ideas for mods could easily be found, but finding ideas that haven't been made might be quite hard

 

but if you are planning on making your own mod, then i'm sure you can find a good, fresh idea

if all you do is requesting a mod, then you might not put enough thought to the idea, and so you might not find a good new idea

at least that's what i think

 

anyhow, since there are so many mods done, i would suggest checking if a mod has been done, before suggesting it

it will save us all some time, and some space on the forum :biggrin:

In oblivion if you get Deepscorn Hallow the book at the entrance it talks about how Greywyn had a vampire assasin guild called the crimson scars I think that you should be able to get vampires to join and bring back the crimson scars. It can have a quest line and new characters. It would be good if you did not like the fact that you stop getting contracts in the Dark Brotherhood

The dark brotherhood is sort of the enemy of the city watch and guards and stuff so if u did not want to be an assasin there could be a mod witch would let you be a guard :)

By far one of the oddest mod guilds I've come across was the Archeology Guild. The only problem is the members are scholars and experts in different fields, while the PC is kind of a dummy just doing dirty work, and there's not much in the way of rewards. Fun mod though.
