TheDoodlerDude
So I recently got a new PC, I've been trying to get Fallout New Vegas with all my mods to work again but I've been getting really frustrated with the result of it not working. At times, fallout would crash with an error saying, "missing master, check your load order" and other times the menu wouldn't pop up at all (continue, load, new, etc). I checked on FNVEdit and it says that Project Nevada is missing master FalloutNV.esm and I already tried validating my game file but nothing has worked so far. I also am not using any mod organizers at all, I activate my mods via the data files from the game menu. Please help!
jcdenton2012
Did you check all the normal stuff? NVSE, load orders, etc. Remember, FallouNV.esm MUST LOAD FIRST... Also, you patched the game right? Otherwise, if you're doing a fresh install, you're going to run into all sorts of problems.
Ryuukage0101
the "missing master, check your load order" is when Fallout tries to load an .Esp that is dependant on a .Esm that have been removed ( or not active).
