psyconought
Hi guys, hope somebody can help me out. I've just managed to get Fallout 3 to run on my system, was trying for months turned out i needed an Intel Work around. Happy days it now runs. This is my first time modding Fallout 3. I'v followed Gopher's Vids and my game looks and plays Fantastic. Apart from the occasional freeze up or ctd. I've installed the 4GB patch, multicore fix, fake full screen, updated unofficial fallout3 patch and Archiveinvalidation Invalidated. When i try to make a merged patch i get the following messege (repeated 3 times) [010E17AA] < Error Could not be resolved > Below is my load order(from Loot) Any help would be very welcome
M48A5
LOOT does not place Fallout 3 mods in the correct order. You should be using BOSS to order your mods for Fallout 3. http://boss-developers.github.io/ Once you get your load order corrected, FO3Edit should run without a problem. You should be using the FO3Edit Training Manual http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/8629/?
psyconought
Thanks for the quick reply M48A5. Just installed Boss, gave me a compleatly different load order. Ran FO3Edit no more error messages. Also cheers for the link to the FO3Edit Training Manual. will take a while to get to grips with this. PS Whats wrong with Loot?
M48A5
LOOT uses a different method to sort load orders than BOSS does. Fallout 3 is an older game and LOOT was developed to sort Skyrim. It makes a complete hash of a Fallout 3 load order. Sometimes to the point to where the game will crash during loading.
