Ichigo14405
ok so i was in the mood to play oblivion again but since i recently got a new computer i decided to avoid 360 version and go to pc, i've just started to use mods but i'm having trouble having them install and use them in game without crashing, currently i'm using oblivion mod manager and previously installed a few and used them with no problem but at the moment i'm trying to install moonshadow elves (face expression fix and hair extra's as well), hgec body 1.21 and oblivion stereo sound overhaul, but when i activate them they do not show up in the left hand side menu or in the data fileshttp://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j214/Brian14405/modissue.png
erc1971
My first question would be...have you installed OBSE (Oblivion Script Editor)? If not, get it now as it is needed for nearly every mod out there. http://obse.silverlock.org/download/obse_0019b.zip Hope this helps,Eric
KingBart
This may sound like a stupid question, but did you check to see if they work in game yet, and have you tried to starting a new game? About the files, I am pretty sure body mods are named exactly the same as the vanilla bodies so they get overwritten. Are their absolutely no data files for bodies, or what? Also don't know for sure, but I don't think hgec has an esp to activate, but if your installing a race it should have an esp so the game knows about a new race. Do absolutely no esp files show up on the left for the mods you just mentioned? This is what I would do to troubleshoot1.) deactivate all the OMODS you don't think are working.2.) run oblivion, and check to see that everything else is working as it should.3.) activate one OMOD file.4.) repeat step 25.) If step 4 works, repeat step 3 and move on to step 4 again. Else, you have found a problem that can be worked on more specifically. In that case you would look at the specific mod's requirements and known issues to try to find a solution.

rgx02
OBSE is used by a lot of mods to run non standard scripts/commands.If you cant even get to the bethesda screen then you are missing a master file (your load order could be wrong). Download and run tes4edit and it will tell which one is it.If your load order is really wrong them download BOSS and it will order it for you. I don't remember if the oblivion mod manager has it built in or not. I would look under utilities for it and try that.

PS hitting random buttons is not usually a good idea.
