WolfMT
For a long time now I have been looking for a mod that adds the PipBoyOn/Off to the vanilla meshes of the New Vegas Companion outfits (1st Recon assault & survival armor, Vaquero Outfit, Cass Outfit etc). Sadly I’ve found no such mods, so now I am asking if anyone here could potentially make these meshes compatible with the PipBoy. Thanks for reading! Edited May 3, 2015 by WolfMT

devinpatterson
Oh and of course time permitting. I usually mod on on Sundays, so if you shoot me a small list of 3 or 4 I might be able to whip them up today.
WolfMT
The outfits with the highest priority is:1. Cass' outfit2. Raul’s Vaquero outfit.3. Boones 1st Recon Survival Armor4. Boones 1st Recon Assault Armor. If you could help me with them, or at least the first two of them, I would be eternally grateful! And if you choose to do it go after your own schedule. The world will not end simply because I have to wait a couple of more days/weeks.
flamenx01
I think these meshes are pipboy compatible: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/49511/?They are set for breeze but it's easy to convert the skin UV map for vanilla.
WolfMT
Yes I’ve used those models before. On the plus side, other then being pip-boy compatible, is that they have both a male and female mesh and some minor problems have been fixed. On the downside they are rigged for a different body then vanilla (breeze apparently), and I’m not a big fan of replacement body types at all. They also lack the PipBoyOn category in the .nif file which leaves the hand detached from the arm, magically floating in front of the pip boy. Which is just... Nooooo…
flamenx01
It's easy to convert a mesh from breeze to vanilla in nifskope. On the render just left click on the part of the mesh with skin then right click texture->Edit UV. In the UV editor highlight all the parts then scale and translate selected. Set the scaling factor to 2 and the translation amounts both to 0.5. You may need to move the parts slightly to make sure they line up to the textures. After that save and it should work with vanilla.Annoyingly the pipboyOn requests blender work which I don't have time for just now :(
