Fallout 3 or New Vegas Mod Idea

I am not sure if this mod already exists and I have spent some time trying to find it however I have failed in finding it. I oddly had a dream of this mod, which I actually remember having many years ago but encountered with the exact same problem I am having now. The idea of this mod was not a pre-set/made base you can have. But the ability to create your own desired base, camp, or anything of your desires from within the game itself and not from the G.E.C.K. What I mean by this is like the ideas of a pop up menu that appears similar to the companion circle whatever its called and you are able to select objects to spawn, rotate, and etc. However since there may be way too many objects probably just have a list that pops up of just names. Anyways I thought this idea for a mod would be very fun indeed. Whether for an easy way for people to make their own homes without skill of using the games editor, or simply making yourself a survival base that you use to defend off countless waves of ghouls. Either way I think this would be pretty fun.

It does exist ,but not quite as you put it.

what you want is very close to what can be had, how ever, you would need to build it.

I can assemble the code and show you just how in-depth the data would be required to fulfill your request. It is only an example.

The tech is already in the games, both of them ,use of the tech live I can show you.

The underground hideout By Dan the geek is on par with some aspects you like, and for both games so stated.

But, the world choices..in comparison of other things are best shown by two other mods.

The megaton player house overhaul has in it several choices of the world spaces done in game.

Vault72 is yet another type of mod that has some character to it as well, I am sure there are more examples.

I would gather to assemble the code in these manners as done...but with your own ideas would be a challenge.

MUW might fit...but is static ,what your asking for is to render code yet not seen..while playing the game.

requirements and thought would be enormous to comprehend the shear amount of data required to fill this order, It can be done.

you would need to take the methods used, not the code, but the methods applied in these mods to "new code".

best to write it all down and search out all you want on paper, make a well planned out scenario of possible events.

But, all of this must exist first, in game generation...this type of coding has not been released yet, only in small ways has it been seen.

all things require planning, think ahead of what might be ,can be thought of...is like having a crystal ball at hand.

do this, sky's the limit ,post the idea layered on pastebin.com and set a link here for us to study.

another example is Project Brazil for NV game .deep very deep possibilities were written out...but is already on the hard drive.

Dynamics are left unseen. It's not easy...but can be done.

There are face gen mods....code in game hot / on the fly that can change things live, character changes....but World spaces ?

Creatures..already are here...mmm "matins mutant mod or Momod for NV" menu operated but still already built...not generated.

give it some thought.

The idea of this mod was not a pre-set/made base you can have. But the ability to create your own desired base, camp, or anything of your desires from within the game itself and not from the G.E.C.K.

Take a look at Wasteland Defense by Elderwind. Hit the spoiler button below for a list of it's features.

-Fort Construction System: Acquire plans and use them to place objects within your fort. Objects can be placed in any manner you desire.

-Guard System: Recruit guards to patrol your fort, defending it from enemy invaders. Specialized guards such as Snipers are available at a higher cost. Robots more your thing? Construct Securitrons from supplies you scavenge from raids.

-Plan Market System: Allow a fort merchant to set up shop and offer various plans for necessities/defenses. The market's stock changes day by day, and special plans may become available.

-Raid System: A remote activated system that can trigger a raid across three difficulties. Supplies are scavenged after fending off a raid, which can be used for future upgrades and defenses.

-Automated Turret Defenses: Plans are available for automated turret defenses to assist your guards in defeating enemy raiders.

-Light System: Be wary of shadows in your fort. Construct lights to keep your fort protected even on the darkest nights.

-Power System: A destroyable generator that powers the lighting around your fort.

-Stationary Guards: The ability to place guards at locations and have them hold their ground.

-Random Raid System: Raider attacks will be randomized, coming when you least expect it (toggle-able in user options)

-Scavenger System: Recruit scavengers to pick across the remnants of your enemies and salvage their equipment.

I havn't played it personally, I'd rather just go through the geck when designing a home or base, but I think it's as close a match as exists on nexus.
