Lehcar
So I use Blender to import and existing Oblivion .nif file. I edit the mesh the way I want it. But then I go to export it, and it exports fine with no errors, but then when I open the new .nif file in NifSkope, it's empty! Like, there's no mesh there, at all! Can anyone pleaaase help? http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/sad.gif
LHammonds
I assume the NIF file is VERY small in filesize. When exporting, you need to select everything using "a" and then export once all objects are highlighted. FYI - We have a dedicated forum for Blender LHammonds
Lehcar
But I'm 100% positive I selected everything, I double and tripe-checked it :(

Deleted1848331User
I absolutely hate it when I do that in Blender. Which is most likely why I have no patience for it. I've had to search Oblivions bsa many times because it deleted the original file too... argh.

LHammonds
Please don't bump / double-post / spam. It is against the forum rules. If you are sure that all objects were selected before export, do you have any NiTriStrips in the NIF file when you open it in NifSkope? Lehcar
I'm positive I did, I pressed A and everything was outlined pink, but then in NifSkope, there are no TriStrips or anything, it's completely empty http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/sad.gif
monkmidon
Maybe you didn't use the correct exporting options? Try clicking the "restore default settings for selected game" button at the bottom of the export menu.
