Sdesser
I'm sorry if this has been asked and/or answered before, but I couldn't find anything with the search function or google searches. I'm not entirely sure how the major Perk Overhauls do their business with the patchers and all, but what I need to know is as follows:If I make a new perk tree inside an old one. Let's say I add a line of perks inside Alchemy or Enchanting that are completely untied from the other perks in the tree. Will my new perks conflict with mods that rework the old perk system? I basically want to add a new perk mini-tree inside one of the old ones (haven't decided which one yet) for players to invest in as they gain access to new stuff through quests, exploration, feats and such. I'd rather not go through the trouble of creating one if it'll conflict with pretty much all overhaul mods out there. Thank you for your time! BigBizkit
yes, it will conflict and the last mod loaded will be the conflict winner overriding the other mod's changes.

Pevey
You could still implement a skill/perk mod that doesn't conflict. You just can't show it on the Skyrim skills menu without conflicts. But you can track the skill yourself, and add perks yourself through some other mechanism than the skill menu.
Sdesser
Yeah. That's what I have going on with a few perks at the moment.Books seem to be a good way to add those perks. It's quite immersive as well. You know, read a book, learn more about a certain weapon or skill and get better at using it etc. :)
