Pittcrew
ok so i installed this, and whenever i got into 1st person view it has my field of view like twice as high as it should be. I really can't bear to play the game like this as you can't even see your own weapon at all and all the npc's have to look up at you. I unfortunately didn't make a backup save so how do i fix this problem?
LFact
Delete maximum compatibility skeletons and see if it fixes your problem.
Megatarius
Yeah. Deleting the skeleton from your data folder will not actually delete all skeletons, because you didn't actually replace the old skeleton. It's safely tucked away in your meshes.bsa file, ready to be read by the game at a moments notice. Edited January 1, 2011 by Megatarius

Just delete maximum compatibility skeleton. If you didn't mess up BSA files, default skeleton.nif won't be gone anywhere.
Megatarius
Don't worry. When it asked if you wanted to overwrite the old skeleton, you must have overwritten a skeleton that was added by another mod. The vanilla skeleton is safely tucked away in your meshes.bsa file. You didn't overwrite it. Use BSA Unpacker on the file and you'll see it in there.
Pittcrew
how do i use bsa unpacker? and it probably overwrited the deadly reflex skeleton
chakaru11
You do not need to use BSA unpacker, that was just an added advice. Unpacking all meshes would show you that the skeleton is still in the BSA files, and the meshes in the BSA files can NOT be overwritten. The game's programming has a special order in which it scans it's folders when booting up. At first it scans all subfolders with custom content and only after THAT it scans the BSA files. So if there is a skelleton already in the custom content subfolders, it will use that. Is no skelleton there, it skips that part and uses teh skelleton savely stored in the BSA files. This is how adding custom content works - because the game first looks for custom stuff and if it finds none, it uses the vanilla counterparts in the BSA. The reason why your computer asked you to overwrite a skelleton is because you most likely downloaded one with an outfit or armor. So just delete the maximum compatibility skelleton. The game won't even blink but use the vanilla skelleton from the BSA file instead. But one thing confuses me. Isn't there a first person fix in Corronera's package? Are you sure you downloaded the right file? Because there are a lot of edits of that skelleton floating around, like BBB addons and whatnot. I once had a problem where the poligons of an armor would go bonkers all over the room in first person and I added corronera'S first person skelleton fix and it worked. So now I am wondering, did you add the first person file? Edited January 10, 2011 by chakaru11
