Crashing

Hey guys, so I just finished installing a bunch of mods and I open up oblivion and it crashes right away. It works okay when I disable the Bash Patch and All Natural - Indoor Weather Filter For Mods.esp, but when it gets to the menu there aren't any buttons but I can mouse over where a button would be and it makes a sound. So I'm not really sure what to do here.

EDIT: When I disable everything that's red I can see the menu, create a new character and play.

Here's a screenshot of Wrye Bash:

What does it mean when the mods are highlighted in red? I installed Wrye Bash yesterday. :/

Also, I rebuilt my Bashed Patch (whatever that means, lol) by right clicking it, pressing rebuild patch, pressing yes when a message is telling me about deactivating some mods, pressing select all, and then pressing build patch. I actually have no idea what that does. I just read somewhere you're supposed to do that.

Okay, so I was messing around and I think I fixed the problem. But now there is this really weird glitch. Whenever I take damage my character jumps back to where I loaded my saved game. So pretty much I can't attack anything. What can I do to fix this? Here's a video, it might help: (I'll post the link soon.)

Also, whenever I press quit in game, it crashes, and windows 7 gives me the little dialog box the oblivion has stopped working. What should I do about this?

Thanks

By the look of that image you are not using BOSS. Also you are using Natural Weather and All Natural together. Natural Weather is outdated, and included in All Natural -- you should remove it. Also, ANScripts.esp need to be placed after All Natural (do that in your BOSS userlist).

Run BOSS, then post your mod list (via Wrye Bash) here (including the spoiler and code boxes).

Whether modded or not, Oblivion sometimes crashes upon exit so its generally nothing to worry about. That being said you can try to use FastExit 2 which is a OBSE plugin that can occasionally prevent that crash from happening.

Thanks! Works perfectly!

The above is your mod list. Unfortunately, what you posted is not a Wrye Bash list, and as such is not very informative. A list taken from Wrye Bash (right click on 'File' tab and select 'List Mods...') tells which mods are active, inactive, active but disabled etc., when you include the code boxes The above is just a list.

I think this is what you're talking about:

  Reveal hidden contents

Just in case, I have this to:

  Reveal hidden contents

A quick question, is the Bash Patch supposed to be activated? When it is, the game crashes instantly, but when it's not activated the game runs fine.

Also, here's this weird glitch I was talking about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4sohwIwr0ro

Absolutely the Bashed Patch has to be activated -- there's no point having it if it isn't. Doesn't this tell you something?

=== Deactivate Tagged Mods

Following mods are tagged Deactivate and should be deactivate and imported into the bashed patch but are currently active.

* Let There Be Darkness - Cyrodiil + SI.esp

* Let There Be Darkness - Knights.esp

* Let There Be Darkness - Mehrunes Razor.esp

If your Bashed Patch is causing crashes, then you have not built it correctly. How exactly did you build it?
