Hexxagone
Ever wonder what made you come back to Skyrim? Well I was thinking it would be cool to have a very small quest mod that starts at the beginning of the game, where you have to travel to Markath's Hall of the Dead to pay your last respects to your mother that recently died. Along the way you have to deal with the cannibal inside there and its a cool way to start The Taste of Death quest. All it would be is to travel to Markarth and click on the coffin, have the Greybeard praying animation play and that's it, quest done.
nightinglae850
Great idea! I imagine that this would only work for human characters? Dont see Nords putting a filthy cat in a coffin.
Hexxagone
Yea I had a Nord in mind when I thought of this, any human character would work too I think.
Vulpes95
Yea I had a Nord in mind when I thought of this, any human character would work too I think.Probably not. The Nords are a proud race who believe in an afterlife that only the Nords (and the properly honored ones at that) can get into. It is likely that a "true Nord" would detest the idea of burying even other human races in the same catacombs as their relatives, believing that doing so would be a sign or irreverence, harming their loved one's chances of getting into Sovengarde. There are also numerous, deep-rooted conflicts between the Nords and the other human races. The Nords are at odds with the imperials over the Empire's truce with the Dominion. The Bretons...well...the forsworn are of Breton descent. A hardworking redguard might earn a place in the Hall of the Dead, barring the aforementioned Nordic racism and superstition. Hexxagone
Hmm interesting, for human characters would it make more sense for the grave to be located at Falkreath's Graveyard?
Vulpes95
Hmm interesting, for human characters would it make more sense for the grave to be located at Falkreath's Graveyard?Yes...that would make more sense for character's of any race. The priest there is a Dunmer. It would thrust the player straight into the werewolf quest. Plus, Helgen is in Falkreath hold.

nightinglae850
You know, with all the "please make a memorial for my dad/mom/brother/cat" requests. I wonder if you can type into an MCM menu the name of who you want to pay your reapects to. Like how you type your characters name in the beginning, and then the grave in Falkreath would have that persons name on it. When you hover over the grave a little popup says "jons grave" or "feldi's grave" etc
Hexxagone
That's a really good idea. So in the game in the player loses a spouse or follower, they can set up a grave for them in Falkreath.
