Edelbrock
look im only new to this forum , but ive just logged up 100 + hours in oblivion , and ive seriously kained morrowind , so i havent like dropped in the last fall , but can some one tell me why the spells like levitation and fortify jump and slow fall have been left out of oblivion , and why isnt there some form of cross bow in oblivion either , why ? , i used to enjoy it in morrowind flying about with my 6 points of constant effect levitation on , and 20 - 30 potions to up my speed , i got things done quick .sometimes i dont wanna quick travel , but i dont wanna walk a hundred miles either . would it be possible to crate an add on to rectify this please . Deleted1848331User
SoVvM adds levitation. Fortify jump is fortify acrobatics. Slow fall really is just you getting a high acrobatics, because falling won't hurt as much, similar to what slow fall did. Crossbows are already added through a mod called Crossbows of Cyrodiil I believe. Travelling from one end of Cyrodiil (Anvil) to the other (Cheyhindal) only takes around 30 minutes by the way. You can only drink about 5 potions at a time, then wait around 3 seconds to drink them again, so if you have long effect potions you can up your speed tat much :D Engine limitations prevent you from going over around 260 with potions, before droping to 0-10, depending on how much, then it goes back to how much you had before (using modpca #attribute# its hard coded at 255). Can't add new skills either, so spear skills and axe skills can't be added. (I know you didn't ask, but thought I'd add it.) Morrowind has a lot of better aspects than Oblivion, but at least we can mod most of what we want. Edited January 2, 2011 by Guest
Edelbrock
cheers for that , i really thought that oblivion would be better than morrowind , but was disappointed when i started playing it , when i found they left some good stuff out
Lyncor
Another great way to travel is download a horse mod that allows you to gallop, get a fast horse and power your way to the destination. Mounted Combat by flyflightflea does this quite well. You don't have to use the (crashy) Mounted Spellcasting.esp to get the effect - I personally just use Mounted Trampling.esp as it gives horses the ability to gallop and also knock people down (good fun!). Edelbrock
thats all fair enough i guess , the horse ideas novel , but i dont ever use them , even the dark brother hood reward one , i dunno , some of oblivion still seems like its a backwards step in the elder scrolls environment , and id rather wicked game play over photo realistic graphics any day
