It is shiny! http://oblivion.pcgamer.sk/images/artefakty/skullcrusher.jpg I agree with you on that. It is very shiny! Also, I believe it is one handed :whistling: Anyways, good work on the model  Edited January 3, 2011 by Guest
LHammonds
I have it setup and sized to be a 2-handed weapon. :P EDIT: It seems to have the basic look of a marble texture. I have those kinds of stone textures in my archive. Here is a quick throw-down of a marble texture with some darkened overlays. Applying a shine in-game should make it look fairly close to the basic look (needs more details and some fine-tuning of color pallet and grunge)

Lord Frostcraig do you have any idea what the symbols on the texture are ?I honestly don't, but here's another slightly better picture. The icon isn't so blurred. http://images.uesp.net//archive/c/cb/20080710194619%21MW_SkullCrusher.jpg From LHammonds picture of it in Morrowind, it looks a bit like a kangaroo with a flame under its belly... lol editAlso, LHammonds, I think it's made of steel, but I like your marble version of it better lol The Skull Crusher is an amazingly large, and powerful weapon. The Warhammer was created in a fire, magically fueled by the Wizard, Dorach Gusal, and was forged by the great weaponsmith, Hilbongard Rolamus. The steel is magically hardened and the weight of the weapon is amazingly light, which makes for more powerful swings and deadly blows. The Warhammer was to be put on display for a festival, but thieves got it first. The Skull Crusher still travels Tamriel in search of its creators. —Yagrum Bagarn, Tamrielic Lore-UESP Yep its made of steel. Like I said above though, I like yours better. edit 2Grabbed Morrowind, going to take some screens of Skullcrusher (because now I want to know what the symbol is... see what you do alonso ) Edited January 3, 2011 by Guest
Deleted1848331User
It toke longer than I thought, forgot to enable screens, had to alt+tab out lol. Then I forgot how to add items to my char, so I made a quick mod with all the artifacts in the Office in Seyda Neen, so here they are :D: Fronthttp://lh4.ggpht.com/_PqUUrxZa1DQ/TSFB6ONOU9I/AAAAAAAAAUY/T_0DemyE60k/s640/front.jpg Side 1http://lh6.ggpht.com/_PqUUrxZa1DQ/TSFB6einzFI/AAAAAAAAAUc/FuUFLxm1-TI/s640/side1.jpgI can't get any closer :pinch: Side 2http://lh6.ggpht.com/_PqUUrxZa1DQ/TSFB6gCq5FI/AAAAAAAAAUo/YRzbWoU3Zb4/s640/side2.jpg Tophttp://lh4.ggpht.com/_PqUUrxZa1DQ/TSFB6wlz3LI/AAAAAAAAAUs/l5pT7HkOIgc/s640/top.jpg Backhttp://lh6.ggpht.com/_PqUUrxZa1DQ/TSFB6Zm_EtI/AAAAAAAAAUg/p-PCkV5b2sI/s640/back.jpg Hope they help,LordFrostcraig

LHammonds
Here is my Paint.NET source texture so you can get an idea of how to utilize LAYERS to create the effects you want to achieve. The only difference from the last image is a couple more grunge layers...still no details. As you will see, I have the UVs separated out into chunks in different layers. This allows me to use the magic wand to quickly select one area at a time and then select a particular texture to manipulate (such as deleting everything outside that selection. I also only have a base texture (marble) with a hand-painted layer for the color burn areas (Overlay layer blend) and some grunge (using a Multiply layer blend with some transparency to control strength) I still need to modify the base texture to make it into a seamless tile so there are less dark / light transitions at the seams as well as adding a bit of overlap at the seams since I cut it a bit to close in certain areas (black lines) LHammonds
