I am wondering if anyone knows of a mod which adds a new line of perks which is solely for bare hand fighting??

 

I searched the database but I could not find anything pertaining to bare hand skills or perks.

Perkus Maximus, an evolution of sorts of SkyRe, also features fist weaponry (knuckles, katars, and claws), and perk trees for these, though otherwise seemingly no bare-handed perks.

Thanks but I will never use a mod which requires the use of some other program other then skyrim or the DLCs. Especially not one which requires Java. I have been burned before by less than reputable modders who have hidden code through Java which either downloaded and installed files without asking for permission, or uploaded password files to an email address. After replacing 4 computers in the last 2 years from this, I will never again download any mod which has requirements other then the game or the game DLCs.

But SkyRe also changes many other things as well. Things which I have either already fixed the way I want them, or changes them to things I do not want. I am very happy with my game as I have it right now, using the mods so far. The only thing that is missing is a mod which adds bare hand skills and perks to the game. Not one that changes bunches of other things too.

As a member of the perma team I have to say that statement is rather insulting.. You basically accuse us of having put malware in java when it's just a patch creator... I could have told you how to just get the unarmored perks but since you're going to be like that I say to you, good riddance.

There's at least four that I know of but I don't think any of them are still supported so I don't think we should recommend them.

Did I accuse you? No! I never even mentioned you. I just said that I HAVE downloaded other mods which required Java and got screwed over because some moron decided to add a virus or steal passwords.... In fact I never even said whether or not it was this game.... Why are you being SO DEFENSIVE????

 

I have learned that when someone becomes defensive over a comment that is not (NOT) directed at them, it means that they are GUILTY of some sort of the offense.... I thank you for your response.... but it makes me doubt your stability and your mod (s).

SORRY TO EVERYONE ELSE WHO HAD TO READ MY REPLY. I CAN'T STAND PEOPLE WHO THINK THEY ARE HOLIER THEN THOU AND FEEL THAT ANYTHING SAID BAD ABOUT SOMETHING IS DIRECTLY PERTAINING TO THEM. There are tons of games out there that have mods, skyrim is not the only one. But his/her response would make me question any mods that are created by the perma team now, especially if it requires Java or any other 3rd programming code!!!!

 

I am still looking though.... If therre is a mod which is no longer supported, that would be good.... I can try to make it compatible (or at least try to see if it still works) with my game....

You obviously did accuse us, you said you didn't trust us based on nothing. Anyways good riddance noone is going to help someone with your attitude.

Actually implying that a reputable modding team has placed some virus in the mods they worked hard on is beyond insulting, as is completely blowing up at them instead of just apologizing if you caused them offense. Considering you did throw a little shade at a mod he was involved in, it is 100% pertaining to him.

Kind of makes me question your age and mentality as well if you just instantly start CAPSLOCKING and boycott a team of modders because one of them was insulted by you claiming their mod might damage your computer.

 

For future reference, if you're really that suspicious about a mod, check the comments. Better yet, just assume that Nexus would not allow a file with a virus in it to stay up very long, and it definitely would not be one of the most popular mods on the site.

Perkus Maximus was probably your best bet too so good luck finding something else, I certainly can't point to anything better.
