LordSn0w Posted May 11, 2015 Share Posted May 11, 2015 just installed oblivion, about to start. i modded skyrim a ton and plan to mod oblivion less but still want to have the best experience possible. there are some must have mods for skyrim as in unnoficial patch, skse, skyui, fnis, etc. what are the "must have" mods for oblivion? also what are some other mods that you reccomend me use so i can improve overall gameplay and enjoyment? and any reccomendations of classes/races etc? It lists a lot of the Oblivion equivalents to the utility mods and such that you mentioned for Skyrim: http://www.nexusmods...ivion/mods/top/ I personally recommend: - Oblivion Character Overhaul by nuska- The unofficial patches by arthmoor - A weather overhaul like Natural Environments, Atmospheres, or All Natural- discovery1's Imperial Ecology series- Emma's Children of Cyrodiil- Any of Mhahn123's Settlements of Cyrodiil mods- Real Lava- Harvest Flora and No Harvest Failure (there is a compatible version with Harvest Flora)- My own stuff, of course *shameless self-promotion* :tongue: If there are any particular types of mods you are looking for, please list them. Quest mods, combat/animation mods. Basically anything that will make the gameplay experience more enjoyable and that will ease the transition for a player that has only played skyrim. Also graphics mods (not enbs) and mods that make characters better looking. And good looking save games would be helpful as well. I originally I thought that the jasmine mystic high elf would be what I would use but I can't seem to find a stable copy of it.
