oglala
TES4LODGEN replaces/creates new distant models for you to see them from far away. The 3 other entries are replacement for the distant terrain textures. Different mods for different jobs. Using one texture replacer for LOD terrain is the most important. But you might want to test that LODGEN thing too. Edited January 5, 2011 by oglala
Megatarius
The best LOD mod is RAEVWD - Really Almost Everything Visible When Distant. It lets you see all the ruins and things. Use TES4LODGEN after installing it, so they show up.
KaizerFaust
How would RAEVWD compare to something like "Forever View"?
Megatarius
Forever view pushes back the smog so you can see further. It seems you can also have more trees visible at once. RAEVWD makes almost every object visible. It lets you see ruins and forts from a distance so they don't suddenly pop in.
Smooth613
You can use all four of the listed mod together. The each do different things.
