I tried google searching and going on tes and planet elder scrolls, but no dice. I am using Alternate Start Revamped and StarX's Vampire Deaths standalone by HellsWake, and when I start as a poor person in the cave there are two vampires there. Would make the game more immersive, and you would always have a bundle of silver arrows or a silver sword with you when going into caves.wether this is possible or not, I cannot answer. I know that the vanilla game has it so vampires have 50% resistance to normal weapons for balance reasons, I just think that having more weapons that are effective against vampires sort of ruins the feeling of being a powerful Creature of the Night. I think Bethesda should have done it like this: vampires are only weak against silver and (and possibly Daedric, but that should be extremly rare) and you are radomly assualted by vampire hunters armed with silver. In Morrowind there was a simple check box to indicate whether a weapon was silver or not in addition to the "Ignores normal weapon resistances" box. Oblivion just has the second box. So in Oblivion it would be really easy to make all the vanilla Oblivion vampires 100% immune to normal weapons, fire, frost, shock, or poison, but that leaves out all the daedric, unique, and enchanted weapons, and it seems like everybody can get an enchanted weapon if they want one. (You could easily make a mod to make it so deadric weapons and special unique vanilla Oblivion weapons are normal weapons that don't hurt ghosts and vampires and things.) Half of me thinks it would be cool to be this invincible, but the other half thinks it would be boring. I play a vampire thief/assassin who I'm perpetually keeping at level 1, only pretty much only guards or enemies from mods carry silver weapons at that level. First, all vampires are made immune to all standard weapons but silver; then make silver, Daedric and enchanted weapons extremely rare and expensive. I plan on installing OOO and Revised Oblivion Mod (ROM). Since both of those emphasize realism and danger, having vampires more dangerous than standard NPCs would make things even more perilous. As an aside, I absolutly *HATE* how Dwemer, Daedric, and Glass weapons and armor are apart of levelled lists, as opposed to having to find them scattered around dungeons and ruins like in Morrowind. So, basically, if there is a mod that alters vampire immunity, removes Daedric, Dwemer, Glass and enchanted weapons from leveled lists and is compatible with ROM and OOO, I'll be a very happy bunny. PS, Furthermore, why do Dremora's leave corpses, now? Morrowind had a nice excuse to not have them dropping Daedric armor left and right. There should be a mod that makes their corpses turn into those egg things. It probably has something to do with killing them on the planes of Oblivion, but still...
