ObLars
If its an ESP file you simply drag & drop the Esp file into the Data folder. Something like this i guess : C drive > Program files -> Fallout New Vegas - > Data. This will not work for a legal version of Fallout: New Vegas. As the only legal version requires steam. As for non steam - they are all pirate versions and are not supported here. If you have a stolen copy (pirate) go back to your pirate friends for help when your game doesn't work. bben46
For a legal game, using Steam. you can extract the mod directly into the Fallout data folder (you did know you must extract or unzip the mod didn't you?) Located where you installed steam xxx\Steam\Steamapps\common\falloutnewvegas\Data
Bulletsponge
Come on, Ben, we've all pirated something. It's like a installation ritual. You haven't installed anything until you've installed an .iso. As for your problems, depending on if you pirated or not, it's either down the steam/steamapps/common path or it's somewhere in your Program Files. davidlallen
Come on, Ben, we've all pirated something. It's like a installation ritual. Speak for yourself. I buy my games, so that the developers can stay in business.
bben46
@ Bulletsponge: If I catch you pirating a game - any game, not just one of those we support - you get the door, No appeal. Piracy is stealing no matter how you dress it up with words like pirate. You stole from someone if you pirated something. We also don't tolerate discussing piracy in any way, including telling where to look for the data folder on your pirated game - you will be gone. This is a part of the terms and conditions you agreed to when y0ou signed up. For discussing and advocating piracy - you just got banned.bben46, Moderator
Interfer0
@ Bulletsponge: you should be careful, you may think Moderators are here to be helpful with things like stickying important and helpful posts, and stopping people from bumping their posts. But you would be so wrong. So, just know, don't post pirated game directories, and don't bother asking for help from a Moderator.
