superpowermindo
So my Skyrim is heavily modded, I have a laptop with GTX 780M 4GB, I7-4800mq 3.2ghz and 8GB RAM. Anyway I have ENB running, 2k texture mods as well as DynoLOD to enhance my distant terrain. The game looks gorgeous. However, there's one problem. .. When I am moving at a fast rate in the exterior cells, for example on a horse, the game fails to load the grass or many other objects fast enough. For instance, I was riding towards Morthal, everything looked fine, grass was ok, then all of a sudden, I reach a point where the grass cuts off abruptly, and only the ground textures and trees are in place, so I stand still, waiting for stuff to load. 10 - 20 seconds later, stuff (actors, grass, buildings, walls) starts to load and it really helps that I was standing still and not moving on my horse. Though that is ridiculous, the game should be able to load that stuff fast enough. The only possible explanation I can think of is the fact that my system can't handle that much of Skyrim, or that I overloaded it with mods. I have 160 esps running, but a large chunk of them are just compatibility patches or small immersion mods, and nothing that adds a boatload of stuff. The biggest mod I have is Perkus Maximus.. I had this issue even before I installed DynoLod. I first noticed it when I installed WarZones. I later uninstalled Warzones and started a new game, but the problem still persisted. So I am really not sure.. Any ideas? Also I am playing at a fairly low FPS, like 20 - 25.. I got used to it.
