  1. So there's this mod called Immersive Lichdom, which basically just adds perks to the Conjuration tree to make the lich form from the mod Undeath stronger. I am using Ordinator, and this mod had a compatibility patch for it UNTIL Ordinator got an update. So now the patch is obsolete. I hate waiting for authors to finish the job when it comes to small patches like this, so I'd rather do it myself and give it a try first. However I first need a short guide or just a couple of directions to point me to the correct path. How would I go about updating this patch and merging it with the new version of ordinator?
  2. So I installed FCOM. Everything seems to be working fine, except my levelled list. I am still level 1 as it takes a loooong time to level but I havent seen the vast majority of the new loot. I have tons of weapon and armor mods that are compatible with FCOM and merged into the levelled list (bobs armory, armamentarium complete, OOO Equipment addon etc..) yet I've only seen 2-3 of the new items.. Is this a problem or just the way FCOM works since I am level 1?
  3. The transparency is caused by Ambient Occlusion. I believe it has something to do with the incompatibility between the latest graphics card drivers and the outdated ENB binaries. You could simply disable that and keep using the ENB. Another possible fix would be to disable AO entirely from the driver control panel. That's how I fixed it, and still kept using the AO from Oblivion Reloaded in conjunction with the Cinematic ENB I've been using.
  4. Did you try Oblivion Stutter Remover? I had the same problem, just merely setting the iheapsize to 600 and the heap algorithm to 5 in the OSR ini fixed the problem for me. I was able to run both UL and BC alongside FCOM, but the FPS tradeoff was not worth it so I just ended up uninstalling BC.. Though I use an ENB and a bunch of texture mods as well.
  5. Ok so I came up with a fix. So far my game has been stable. The key is to set OSR settings accordingly. Set the heap algorithm to 5, and the size to 600. That did the trick.
  6. Omg I am having the EXACT same problem as you. I tried disabling Better Cities, and it did fix some of my crashes, however I am still crashing like mad after 2-3 cell changes and I don't know what is wrong... I am now downloading optimized QTP3 textures and some other optimization mods, and will see if those will fix it. It just seems to me that the game can't handle all the stuff I threw at it, so I need to make sacrifices. I am convinced that a FCOM + BC + UL installation is just too goddamn unstable and impossible to pull off, but even with BC disabled, I am still getting crashes. My Oblivion fever is slowly fading away because I've hit a wall and don't know what to do. Shame, I wanted to play it so much before Fallout 4...
  7. Excellent work. However I am curious, what armor is this? It looks awesome! Is it something you made yourself?
  8. Well it's pretty tough to have that amount of mods and make the game run stable lol. I don't think there's any other way to find out the culprit other than the process of elimination like I also mentioned above. I also don't think TES5Edit's merged patch will solve all your issues. I am a perfectionist when it comes to modding Skyrim too, but at every stage, I am greeted by yet another effing problem that I have to put up with. It has become so intense that I spend most of my time trying to fix the game rather than playing it, and I regret it. So my advice to you is, if your game is in a playable state at least for an extended period of time before it crashes, then I suggest you at least try to live with your problems. I know, you might think it's bad advice, since you so desperately want to fix the game, but the reality is, Skyrim is really poorly optimized in a lot of ways, and even more so when you mod it. So what I learned over time is, you either spend all your time trying to fix things and get frustrated, or you play the game and experience an awesome playthrough with a few bearable flaws. Other than that, I just want to make sure, do you have all the memory enhancing mods like SSME, Safety Load and/or ENBoost? As you probably already know, those mods will fix most of your crashes, and a huge chunk of them really ARE caused by memory issues. Just making sure.
  9. ENB isn't known to cause crashes. Have you tried without the ENB? It could also be a memory issue, or your enblocal ini set wrongly, but that would usually happen if you were to step into an exterior cell instead. Can you post your PC specs, and the contents of your enblocal, ini? But I still have my cards on the fact that ENB doesn't cause CTDs... I would try removing the ENB completely and trying like that, just to be sure.
  10. You'll need to be a bit more specific. What do you mean when you say it is not working? Do you get purple textures? Or do you CTD? Working is only female body. Male in race menu is Nord. The mod no add new hair, brow etc... (Sorry for my bad english) Sounds like missing files to me. You should re-install the mod, and make sure the meshes and textures folders are in Skyrim's data directory, along with the mod's esp. If you used Mod Organizer to install it, that may be why, since it fails to install through fomod setups sometimes.
  11. Did you turn off your texture mods as well? Try installing an eye texture replacer. Also go to settings in mod organizer, click the plugins tab, click fomod installer. You should see two things on the right panel. enabled = true and prefer = true. Set prefer to false (double click it until drop down menu appears). This is because Mod Organizer sometimes screws up with fomod installations, and installs stuff wrongly. Could also be an ENB issue, if you are using one. I had issues with ENB screwing with my character's eyes, making them all black and weird.. If everything is in its default state and it still happens then it's probably a corrupt file in your Skyrim installation. Tell you what, since Mod Organizer only handles mods for you IF you run Skyrim through it, and since it keeps your vanilla data folder clean, try running skyrim without mod organizer, launch it using the default exe, or skse_loader, and see if it still happens.. If it does, make sure your data folder is clean, and only the vanilla game files are there. (make sure there aren't any meshes, textures folders)
  12. No need to go through them one by one. What I'd do is, just disable everything, then enable like, 50 of them. If you get the error, there you go, you narrowed the list to 50. If you don't, then yay, it means it really IS some esp causing this crap and not some deeper unidentified issue. So enable 50 more, just enable until you get the error. Once you do, disable the batch of mods you last enabled, and try to narrow it down like that.
  13. You'll need to be a bit more specific. What do you mean when you say it is not working? Do you get purple textures? Or do you CTD?
  14. So I have a really weird problem. I just followed this video right here to get DynDOLOD working, and it was a success. My game looks great. However there's a major problem. For some reason, for instance in the reach, I get like very blurry aspen and snowy tree LODs ( using SFO ) but when I get close to them they disappear. So basically, I get tree lods where there are no trees.. Even in the Tundra, I get like, a couple random aspen tree LODs which clearly don't belong. They disappear as I get closer. Thing is, I noticed this problem even before I installed DynDOLOD but it seems more prevalent now. Back then I had Distant Object Overhaul, HighQualityLODs and SkyrimHighDefinitionLODs (yes, they all replace each other to some extent, I just wanted greater coverage) mods together with Distant Detail. I tried disabling them while using DynDOLOD but the problem still persisted. So I'm really at a loss. In a minute I will try disabling DyndoLOD and trying again, but if you guys have any suggestions or ideas, they would be much appreciated.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c3zVK8PD3Vg EDIT: Disabled it, yep it's DynDOLOD...
  15. So my Skyrim is heavily modded, I have a laptop with GTX 780M 4GB, I7-4800mq 3.2ghz and 8GB RAM. Anyway I have ENB running, 2k texture mods as well as DynoLOD to enhance my distant terrain. The game looks gorgeous. However, there's one problem. .. When I am moving at a fast rate in the exterior cells, for example on a horse, the game fails to load the grass or many other objects fast enough. For instance, I was riding towards Morthal, everything looked fine, grass was ok, then all of a sudden, I reach a point where the grass cuts off abruptly, and only the ground textures and trees are in place, so I stand still, waiting for stuff to load. 10 - 20 seconds later, stuff (actors, grass, buildings, walls) starts to load and it really helps that I was standing still and not moving on my horse. Though that is ridiculous, the game should be able to load that stuff fast enough. The only possible explanation I can think of is the fact that my system can't handle that much of Skyrim, or that I overloaded it with mods. I have 160 esps running, but a large chunk of them are just compatibility patches or small immersion mods, and nothing that adds a boatload of stuff. The biggest mod I have is Perkus Maximus.. I had this issue even before I installed DynoLod. I first noticed it when I installed WarZones. I later uninstalled Warzones and started a new game, but the problem still persisted. So I am really not sure.. Any ideas? Also I am playing at a fairly low FPS, like 20 - 25.. I got used to it.
  16. I found the culprit.. It was Requiem. Such a shame though, I don't want to remove it. I am not sure if a combination of other mods with Requiem is causing the issue, or if it is Requiem itself..
  17. Ah I see.. Well I've been using LOOT to sort out my mods.. I really am not sure what would be the best load order for me then.. I will take a look at it, thanks. Next thing I am gonna try is resetting my inis, if not, disabling mods one by one to isolate the issue.
  18. Hey all, I've been getting random CTDs while exploring exteriors for such a long time now. I even made a new save, and even with that, I am getting crashes. I am not sure if it is a mod conflict or anything, but most of the esps I have as you can see are just compatibility patches, weapon/armor mods and optional esps of other bigger mods. So I am really not sure what is causing the issue. Right now, my character is right outside at the tundra, near that purple tree thing with a giant camp nearby.. I am walking towards Whiterun, and odd thing is I crash EVERY time I go a bit past the giant camp. This is strange because my crashes used to be random, but now it is crashing at this specific place. I tried disabling some mods ( especially 2k texture mods ), and checked papyrus log, to no avail. I also disabled my ENB ( I am using SkyRealism ) and that didn't work either. Still crashing.. I do have a ton of 2k and partially 4k texture mods installed, which I combined with the Skyrim Mod Combiner.. I disabled it in Mod Organizer, so that Skyrim 2k textures take their place, but I still had the same crash.. My specs GTX 780M 4GB 8GB RAM Intel Core i7 4700MQ 3.4 ghz Here is my load order Any help would be much appreciated.. I also had some script heavy mods installed, such as footprints, headtracking and I also had SkyTest.. I uninstalled these mods due to the instability of my game and used the save game script cleaner to remove the orphaned scripts. I am not sure if the uninstallation of these mods are causin the problem, especially SkyTest. However, that's what the script cleaner is for right?
  19. In response to post #12859163. Don't know if that's a sarcastic comment, but absolutely NOT. It's an MMO and that would be very unlikely.
  20. So recently I've installed Moonlight Tales and Werewolf Mastery and started a new playthrough, everything worked fine. I became a werewolf, and screwed around with some of the features of the mods I've installed. Anyway, after playing for a while I've noticed that my " Howl of Terror" has no effect on ANY NPC. Like, when I use it, the screen momentarily becomes red, my werewolf roars and the sound effects play as usual, but that's it. NPCs are not feared. It won't even tell me if a specific NPC is immune to the effect. It just won't work. It USED to work as far as I remember. I think this all occured after I used the " change howls while in beast form" feature of the mod " Werewolf Mastery " and chose a howl that I hadn't unlocked, since the mod lists all three howls whether or not you've unlocked them. I am not entirely sure if that's the problem though. I'm clueless. Furthermore I seem to be absorbing dragon souls out of nowhere while in werewolf form. Also another thing is, I've noticed that while I'm in human form, I have Howl of the Pack and Scent of Blood in my shouts list for some reason. As far as I know they shouldn't be there... Something is really wrong with this and I've yet to figure out what. 21. Can anyone retexture the helm of yngol to fit with ebony armor well? I like Helm of Yngol better than the Ebony Helmet but it's a bit too brownish for Ebony Armor.
  22. So I've been searching for a tutorial which describes how to port oblivion mods like Knightly Armory or any other armor or weapon mods out there for Oblivion to Skyrim. However I couldn't find anything but I've seen some Oblivion ported mods on skyrimnexus. How did they do it? I need a tutorial so that I can learn how to. I'll also use it personally to avoid any copyright things etc. I won't release it.
  23. You've got some good ideas there but I don't think it is possible. So I think you should forget it for now.
