ecdraceofspades Posted January 7, 2011 Share Posted January 7, 2011 Hello Everyone, I have a question, how do I bypass a buggy quest? in other words how do I jump from one quest to the next one? The problem I have is at the scientific pursuits quest, when my character sits in the tranquility lounger the game crashes on the load screen to the tranquility lane quest. This is my third time playing the whole game. However, I m having problems now because I installed mods, more specifically FOOK, Project Beauty and Mart's Mutants amongst others. Thus, I am trying to bypass the tranquility lane quest and go directly to the waters of life quest. I have tried to use the console but I am not sure as to how to bypass a quest as I can only complete the scientific pursuits quest through the console, and I cannot start or complete either the tranquility lane quest or the waters of life quest. Fonger Posted January 7, 2011 Share Posted January 7, 2011 2 primary causes for this type of crash 1 - do you have a live iguana in your inventory (from MMM) -- if so get rid of it and update MMM 2 - some mods add interesting items to the game, some of these can cause a crash here if you are still wearing them when you enter the lounger --- fix - manually unequip every equipped item Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
