Searching Images on Nexus Sites?

Hey there,

 

I couldn't see the functionality to do this, bar tag searches, but I'd be curious if there was any way of searching through the images sections of the various games with terms at all?

 

See I used to chuck about the Fallout 3 Nexus years ago (but I don't have a hope of logging back on with that account as I can't access that email address any more) and I remember a user who would upload photographs of real world locations that he thought would be good for building on the world of that game, with commentary in the description (i.e. of random stuff like shop fronts, concrete pipes, bits of street clutter, well anything and everything, he must have had hundreds of them).

 

I tried having a look about Google to turn up his account, but that doesn't seem to be helpful for anything other than mods. Its that now, years later, I'm making the Fallout world in miniature (which meh, I may as well post below, because well images mean responses right ...right!? ;) ) and it recently hit me that those images could be interesting to look at, just to inspire models this time around rather than mods.

 

So could anyone clue me in with this at all, I mean if there's an easier way of looking for that user or if anyone happens to remember them? :blush:

...You seriously just searched the regular files for the resources tag didn't you? Eugh, I'm feeling like a bit of a tool right now. ;)

No, I've been here a long time and I remember Olaf's uploads. Cool to see people still being inspired by them.

Heh, I remember sitting there as he uploaded them always wanting to make some of that in the game. Mods like DC Interiors sort of beat me to it all unfortunately (and I was yet another in a long line of modders who fell prey to losing their hard drive after ages sitting there working on stuff). Shame though as it would have been great to see that stuff make it into the game, it would have really added a greater level of depth to everything (which sadly many modders don't focus much on that aspect, but put that down to personal taste).
