ScubaSteve3465
Well im having constant crashes in New Vegas and the only think i can think of is my load order. Ive been trying to get help for some time now but apparently no one really wants to help. davidlallen
It is unlikely that anybody can solve the problem for you, simply by looking at the load order. What you can do is to disable half the mods, which you don't use that much, and see if the problem goes away. If it does, then the problem mod is in the half you disabled. Turn half of the back on, and see if the problem happens again. By doing a few tests like this, you can narrow down which mod is causing the problem. Then you can contact the author of that mod, and ask if they have any recommendation.
ScubaSteve3600
Well david i really do apprecite the help my friend. It just bothers my that no one else had 20 seconds to spare and help me like you did. So kudos to you sir, and hopefully i can get this worked out. Also one last thing david, i was wondering if you had any experience with fnvedit and finding conflicts, if so i was trying to find someone to help me learn to spot conflicts and revise my load order to avoid these conflicts... or if you could just point me in the right direction that would be just as helpful. Thanks again for the advice though.
davidlallen
There is a chapter in the 160-page fnvedit manual which deals with finding conflicts. Many players don't want to mess with fnvedit, but it can certainly help track down what is wrong. The idea is to load the two mods and apply a "filter", which highlights any conflicts in red. You may be able to resolve them on your own, or you may prefer to report the exact conflicts to the mod owners.
