Deleted2746547User
Not sure what I did here... but I was placing a small body of water in an exterior space and now suddenly there is a huge pane of water that I cannot delete. I've deleted the original body of water and rebooted...but the other one is still there. Any ideas Solved it myself. It took took three tries but I got it. Still can't get the water to look how I want though. Edited May 16, 2015 by Guest
SuitandTieGaming
As an alternative to placing water, you could use cell water. In the Cell View window, you can right click on the cell you want water in, and click edit. You can then set the water height, and water type. Deleted2746547User
Well, to be honest... I figured it out on a Flook... my problem was the height the water in the cell was at... though I don't know how it got switched or changed in the first place.I had to go to edit cell, and change the water height to -23000.0000 Not sure how that worked honestly or if it will muck up something else...but the big rectangle of water is gone and I still have the small placeable water visible. :)
Fallout2AM
That's a common issue I had many times in the past, I know how to reproduce it but I never managed to find a solution different by RELOAD THE PREVIOUS SAVE, which is bad  So basically you changed vanilla's water height to another value and then back to the normal value? or your worldspace is not mojave but a new worldspace? Deleted2746547User
I was originally adding water to a well near the Yangtzee abandoned home.... and somehow when I was placing water for the well... the cell itself changed the water height. Weird. And nothing I did at first fixed it... had a huge rectangle of water that would not go away. So, after much hair pulling... found a thread about a similar issue. So changed the height back to the -2300. Weird.Hey, do you know how to have a workbench script pull items from a container rather than the player? CivilEngineers
I've found the issue after a bit of finangeling, when you add or adjust the height of a movable water object it changes the height of the waterlevel in that cell. So just edit cell on the cell in question, reset the water level to 0 and you're sorted. The fact the movable water only sticks to certain z axis levels no matter what you do and there's no way to have water in all 3 levels of the fountain from Dead Money is a problem I sadly don't know how to solve.
