Bending Over Backwards?

Hi. I've recently returned to FO3, from FONV, to take advantage of the many mods that have already established themselves firmly (as opposed to the FONV mods which are still in early development).

The problem is, I installed a load of mods, and now I am finding that one of them is causing my character to bend over backwards at the waist when firing in VATS. Each time the gun is fired he flexes backwards like the recoil has broken his spine!

lmao. i want to see that!

 

anyway. the conflict is probably with fook. from what i have heard, it really does not go well with fo3 wanderers. fo3 wanderes tho on the other hand goes very well together with marts, eve and weapon modkits, aswell as project beauty. there is a detailed video tutorial on how to install it. so go to the video tab, and if you have this tackled, then you may go ahead and carefully add mods, but dont forget to ever read what you install. otherwise it gets a mess. even in fo3 with so called "established" mods. cheers and enjoy!

I thought this might happen while I was downloading all these mods :(

It happened before - I download a load of mods to make the game more interesting, but they end up breaking it and I cannot be bothered to go through trying to fix the problems and uninstall them all.

Running FOOK2 1.1 and FWE x.x together is not advised. As for FOOK2, you did not install FOOK2 1.1 correctly because you have some outdated FOOK2 1.0 RC plugins in there. EVE is integrated in FOOK2 1.1. The MMM/FOOK2 patch you are using is for MMM 5.x and you are running 6.x. You are not using the compatibility patch for WMK/FOOK2 and you do not have a merged patch which is required for WMK to work if you are using the WMK DLC plugins. FPS Grenade Key is integrated in FOOK2 1.1. I am not up on FWE but just glancing at your load order it seems there are a couple of issues there as well.

 

As for which overhaul is more compatibile it is a toss up since all of the mods Nadimos lists as "very well together" with FWE are either integrated or have well established compatibility patches with FOOK2. FWE is definately better marketed when it comes to hearts and minds.

Ok, so it sounds like the easiest way to sort this out is to drop FOOK all together. I have also fiddled with the load order a bit. Can you please tell me if I need to change anything else?
