Where is Display name change in edit profile?

I have been trying to change my display name for an indiscriminate ammount of time, and I cant, for the love of cat-tuhlu find the display name change option... unless it was removed and the help topic is outdated.

There's no display name change option that members can control personally. If it's a change in rules it's one that's been in effect for a long, long time.

 

You're either stuck with your name or you can have you account closed, make sure to clearly state in the account closure request topic that you're doing so with the intent to register a new name. You'll lose all your posts, kudos and anything else associated with your old account in the process. Also be aware that on a sight with several million users, there's a good chance the name you want - has already been taken.
