Just about everybody here knows about Crassius Curio and his lustful ways. The man is practically a walking hormone. Worse, he uses his powers as a Hlaalu master to advance his gender-bending agenda.

However, what if we applied this to the real world? What if you were asked to save the world from some enemy, and you had to eventually strip for someone to do so?

What would you do?

I understand that the stripping is not necessary for the main quest, but what if it was?

Oh man not ANOTHER Curio thread <_< Guys this has been discussed WAY too many times. Same with the Forgoth threads. If this goes OT I will lock it straight away.

And yes I would strip for the other gender. In fact I quite enjoy taking my clothes off ;)

This is off topic surely, Moderators. The reference to Crassius Curio is incidental.

Take my clothes off - sure - I'm an actor. I've stripped naked on stage. What's the big deal?

Or were you suggesting that there would be 'other duties' to come?

Hmm Charon. Beloved Uncle?

Whether or not locked IMO this thread belongs in the off topic forum. And if it is put there I see no reason to lock it as long as it does not get crude.

The question, and it seems valid, is how far would you go with regard to personal humiliation to save the world?

I can't believe anyone would worry about stripping.

I'm directing Measure for Measure at the moment. The central theme of the play is a parallel to this. A nun is told she can only save her brother's life by sleeping with the man with the power of life and death over him. She won't do it.

The scenario is a little different but the theory is the same. How far would you go to save someone/something that you care about deeply?

I would be interested to know what people think. But I would also add that what we think we might do and what we actually would do are probably poles apart.

Hmm yes ok, moving this to Off-Topic. Let's steer this away from Crassius shall we? *Thinks of adding to the rules never to speak of Fargoth or Crassius Curio* :P
