soleguardian
I was wondering what the code/command/whatever is they used in knights of the nine to make the knights look like ghosts is. I want to make either a ring or some sort of armour that makes you a ghost when the item is equipped. I want the ability to activate/deactivate it as i please and other mods don't allow this that i know of.
majikmonkee
Well, I was talking to someone about making a mod that creates a ghost horse, and I was told there are serious glitches associated with the ghost effect in the game. If I remember correctly, there is an Oblivion overhaul that gives you an "ethereal form" type spell where you look like a ghost and can pass through things. That might be a good place to start looking.
Pronam
The function SetGhost makes something 'act' like a ghost (unable to hit). Another thing, the Ability/Spell Effect that's what's the visual part. They are separate things :). The ability is called AbGhostNPC and applies a shader with some fade via script. GreatLucifer
It was glitched in the way that if the horse was 'ghostlike' and the player mounted, all things worn by the player would become invisible. In some cases it even made the entire player completely invisible.... I'm certain it's bugged in that way. But when fixing that horse, I did not try it on the player itself, so who knows.... it might be bugged, it might work fine....
