Has anyone ever thought of making gargoyles as a playable race?

I've looked and can't find one anywhere.

 

I'm basically looking for something similiar to the Gargoyles from http://gargoyles.dracandros.com/Gargoyles

 

I think what could be implemented are possibly new hairstyles to fit with the gargoyles, some could add horns, some could leave them bald, etc.

 

There could be several sub-races, some to include the beak that Brooklyn has, some with other facial features. However this can be implemented.

 

I'm not looking for a mod to change them to stone, as I know this would be a complicated procedure. If anyone's willing to do it, I'll accept, probably best as being able to turn on and off, as something like that would have a large impact on how the game is played.
