I have seen mods uploaded over a month ago showing that error on the premium server, If its a New Vegas mod, I don't even attempt to use the premium server since I will most likely receive that error.

Haven't mentioned it before assuming it was being worked on.

I have gotten that same message on several occasions. Typically it is with larger downloads, but not always. As I have an aircard w/ poor reception, I am dependent on download acceleration software and thus use the premium servers whenever possible. When I get this "error," I find that simply switching to the other premium server (UK) works every time and my files download without hesitation. Hope this was helpful.

Hi,

I am having a problem downloading with a download manager from all servers, the download manager seems to be redirected to a premium.php file and downloads that file instead, it usually is around 35KB, I use Flashget as a download manager.

Without a download manager I have no problems except the one mentioned in this topic with the US Premium server but with big files (100MB or above) downloading without a download manager is usualy just too slow.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

The "premium.php" is the redirect/instruction set to get you connected to the "Premium-Users-only" servers, and includes the information about which file you want. It is not the file itself, (obviously.) But your d/l manager is presuming that the next thing to be sent by the server to which you WERE connected is going to be the file you want to download. So that won't work until the .php has executed...

Thanks Thandal but that is just stating the obvious, I know what the premium.php is, the thing is I tried using Firefox to send the download to flashget download manager, at which point I wait until the Firefox download window is opened and then choose flashget 3 instead of open file or save file, this suppose to send the actual file and it does show the actual file name in flashget, for a few seconds and then it changes to the premium.php file again and downloads that instead within a second.

There are issues with the Denver premium server, the only one who can get this resolved is Dark0ne. He is aware of the problem and will be taking steps to get it resolved upon his return. He is unable to do what needs to be done from his Iphone and needs to check the server logs to see what is going on with it.

So until this is resolved please use one of the other premium servers .

Sorry, from your post it seemed like you were asking why you were getting the .php INSTEAD of the specific file. You'd be surprised how many people don't understand what's happening when they click a "download" link on the Files tab.
