webster63
im about where you are and to be honest i dont think anything exists soo many mods that change things have a longer list of bugs then changes it makes and most mods need lots of extra content just to work plus the conflicts and special edits and crap :wallbash: i dont see anything you can do but load some 50 mods but only after carefull read of the discussions for each mod (because for most they dont tell you of conflicts or bugs) so devote a few hours to all this then after your game starts CTD issues you can search for the mod with unreported bugs that is causing it. the biggest problem i see is there is no way to sort mods properly so you cant tell the ones that are original and what is poorly done copycats

capn_tucker
Must have mods for me are New Vegas Bounties, A World of Pain, Nevada Skies and Classic Fallout Weapons. Electro-City is nice too, and also the mods that give night vision with helmets and de-nerf energy weapons etc..
Dasim4
Mostly I recommend going to the top 100 of all time list and see what looks good to you. Kinda hard to make recommendations for someone else because everyone's taste is different. I already have a good many mods running without issue so I wouldn't totally adhere to the advice of Nancy Negative in the post above. Most of the decent ones are ports from FO3 and work fine with NV. You just have to be careful what you dive into is all. I'm always leary of big conversions anyway because they change so many things the potential for problems is huge. I'd rather pick and choose what I want and stick to things that don't intertwine too much. Sometimes it's unavoidable but if you are careful and stay aware of what you are installing it's pretty easy to avoid major problems. Some I would recommend are: Better BinocularsNew Vegas BountiesFelloutElectrocityGrenade Hot KeyRadio New Vegas and Conelrad (More music to listen to)Weapon Mod ExpansionCentered 3rd person cameraShiloh Color maps and clean pip boy modsCASM_NV (Makes saving easier) Intrusive Invisible Wall removerMTUIUnified HUD ProjectPopulated CasinosRealistic repairAdvanced Recon Gear (Excellent NV mod)
