slayer1o7 Posted January 14, 2011 Share Posted January 14, 2011 (edited) please help I have been stuck on this for quite some time, ive hit a brick wall :wallbash: I am stuck on getting my models to show up in the geck, I have successfully made an weapon model in blender to exported it to Nifskope but when i go to edit the mesh in the modeling view list for the Geck nothing appears but black space. I dont know that much of anything of Nifskop or blender which could be factors. science i am new to to this could someone please tell me what i have to do to get my model to appear in the geck, any insight will really help out thanks. baduk Posted January 14, 2011 Share Posted January 14, 2011 Hi! Weapons in the game are either guns or solid melee weapon. The guns have animations for reloading and the meelee ones they got decal placement vector arrays on em. Both have collision mesh on em. I dont know who makes a nif from scratch with the gun animation or decal thingys.Its more complicated than what u should start out with. Making collision mesh isnt so hard tho but u can start out and just use the one from another nif. Ok so basically all u need is your nitrishape data. u take that and paste it into the correct nitrishape node on the vanilla weapon.
