Morrowind Wish List

It would be nice to see how much damage you acctually do. Kinda like in the final fantacy series. It would be nice to see like 9999 when you attack someone.

Also it would be cool if you could wound someone. Like if you slash them in the arm they would hold their arms and wince in pain.

also Cliff racers suck.

Wounding would be scripting hell, as well as a resource hog. The moving boats and silt striders aren't there because of the same reasons horses aren't there - no one's figured it out yet. Perhaps the one to do it could be you?

You can actually script a shipwreck or silt strider death, but it would once again happen on a cutaway, you would not have an active chance to stop it.

For the godzilla-like rampage, the structures would have to have HP, which opens up a whole new can of worms. There are reasons we can't bash open crates and the like - the static items can't have HP.

Nice wishes, though -

That would be another nice addition... damage to buildings, for when those of us feel the need to go on a world destroying spree (hey, doesn't everyone!?).

But mainly the ability to smash open chests/break down doors would be great (like in NwN). It doesn't exactly feel like it fits when you have to use a spell or a lockpick as a warrior to open a locked door. :P

I'd have to say that I'd like a compute that didn't boot you at random from the game, but that is only something I can fix.

Other than that, I haven't been keeping up so I don't know if this has been mentioned, I'd like to be able to at least join the Order of Ordinators. That way you can actuall wear their armor around and talk to them without having to take the Cuirass and Helm off to keep them from trying to kill you. And if they did you should have the option to give up the armor and appologise for it before they start swinging. It gets annoying when every Ordinator you see tries to kill you because you talked to one of them while wearing the Sacred Armor of their Order.

Especially when you KNOW that in your inventory is a great bloody warhammer that would take the thing apart.

Maybe we could have a few weapons of mass destruction....who wouldn't want to carry a nuke around in their pack ;)

Using a bloody great warhammer on a chest would probably destroy what was inside, too. So too heavy a whack and you lose the game's unique item without which you cannot finish the game. There would be no dialogue box to tell you what you had done. Weeks later you would come to the forum in desperation and learn, too late!

Yes - I like that idea. It sounds CRUEL!

As for nukes, why not? With luck, one would destroy everything in the whole game and save you having to play it at all.

Mind you, not starting it would be just as good.

Why do so many go around killing the innocent in Morrowind? Next thing you know you'll be getting a taste for it ITRW.

Erm - back on topic - I'm sure as technology develops most of the wishes expressed here will be possible in one game but not Morrowind. There will be bigger games to come.

(Hides head from insane MW fanatics.)

More domestic creatures. The only one that exists is the Guar (nice doggie...), but other company animal would be nice.

More sea creatures. I hate those stupid fishes, specially the small ones.

Some birdies. I like Cliff Racers, but I wanted more birds (so I can use my new Dwemer crossbow!)
