Fallout 3 Crashes on startup

Fallout 3 has been crashing on startup for me. I don't know what could be the problem. I'm using the Game of the year edition with the 1.7 patch and all downloadable content. I have mods installed, here is the order:

I also have NMCs_Texture_Pack_for_FO3 which isn't in the load list, and UWWUT which isn't in the load list.

im having the same problem i start the game it works for like a couple seconds and then crashes i dont havy any mods installed and its the same as his the goty edition any help?

Yours is probably simpler because you don't have mods running. Just try the standard fixes like installing FOSE and FOMM to run it on.

Then check your FFDshow codecs so that Fallout 3 isn't run thru them.

Also, do a reinstall.

When I was still playing the Vanilla version of the game, that did it for me.

this is after a reinstall because it was crashing whenever i entered an interior cell now it just crashes on startup
