GreatLucifer
Aye, but there's still detail work that the region editor can't handle, like settlements, making sure everything is grounded, and giving interesting unique landmarks. Grounding? Whatnow? Cause I indeed handplace my paths around houses and settlements, but other than that the region-editor-path-generator always worked just fine for me. No flaws sofar..... just takes forever to generate :D Aye :D Lucifer
ub3rman123
Grounding is where the region editor forgets what it's doing and only puts a tree half into the ground, so the player can see a bit of the underside of the mesh. You have to go in and fix those by hand.
GreatLucifer
Strange, never had that..... What I did once have though (coincidentally, something like a week ago), was that it skipped an entire cell, forcing me to re-generate. The land was all foresty and pathy, accept for that one huge square :D
vvk78
Does anyone know why the DUNE project was abandoned - there were no updates to it after 2008? The newer desert mod called Elsweyr the Deserts of Anequina is also not accessible (author has set it to hidden). The scale of the Thanmania Project you guys are undertaking, seems to be huge (even if much of that landmass is barren). What kind of time-frame do you estimate once you start? Would it be better to reignite the DUNE project instead, maybe under a different name? It can be completed fast considering that you guys are accomplished modders. We would love a great desert mod for Oblivion. And yeah, Mr. Sikaa's Camels mod will be another useful resource.
LegoManIAm94
I did see it but the authors arent to active any more and I will make this mod happen only if I can get some modelers since that is the one thing I cannot do and need for this project. I aready started it and I can only work so far until I need models. I hope to get it done with in a few years at least. LegoManIAm94
Well that depends on how much time I have to work on it and how much time the others have to work on it as well.

LegoManIAm94
Some more info on this project There law is different than Cyrodiil. Instead of just paying for your fines you also have to fight a match in the arena and if you survive then you must pay off your fines to have your bounty removed.
