bigbaderic
First I just want to say hello to everyone as this is my first post. I've been lurking around here for a few days (ever since I got my computer and decided to give Oblivion + Mods a spin), and this seems like a really cool community. Now onto my problem. I know this has probably been asked dozens of times here, but in my two hours or so of searching on the internet, I can't find an answer that solves my problem and most answers are old and working with an outdated version of the mods anyway. I've only got a few mods installed and they are: Unofficial Oblivion Patch.espOblivion XP.espObscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.espAlternative Start by Robert Evrae.espOblivion XP - OOO.esp That's their load order as well. I'm currently having them load before my DLC - I'm playing the Steam version of GOTY Deluxe Edition and I'm using OBMM. I've also got DarNified UI 1.3.2 active, but that doesn't show up in the load order list so I can't tell you when it loads. Basically my problem is that Oblivion XP keeps crashing my game. I won't even get to see the Bethesda logo at the beginning. The screen will just go black for a moment and then the game just quits. If I don't run Oblivion XP - OOO, I can get to the title screen and select new game, but as soon as it goes to the loading screen it crashes. I know that Oblivion XP needs it's version of menus in order to work, so I installed that after installing DarNified UI and I allowed Oblivion XP to overwrite what it needed to. I know the problem is with Oblivion XP and Oblivion XP - OOO because I can deactivate those and the game runs like a charm. I've installed the OBSE 19b by copying the .dll files into the Oblivion directory like the readme said, but I can't tell if it's running alongside Oblivion or not when I boot up the game. Can anyone help? I'm sorry if this exact question has been asked before (as I'm sure it probably has) and if that's the case, can someone direct me to the thread where the issue is addressed? Hickory
If you are using the latest (updated) Oblivion XP by AndalayBay you do not need the OOO plugin, as support is built in, and this may be your problem.
