JHM15001 Posted January 17, 2011 Share Posted January 17, 2011 Hello, The purpose of this post is to get the Beautiful people Mod up and running. This is the problem: I download Beautiful people ---> Using My WinRAR program I open it ----> Place it in my oblivion mods folder ---> And On the Oblivion launcher select Data files ---> Start Game -----> New character This is where the problem is. All of the characters eyes are filled in black and when scrolling over to select a mystic elf race its now showing up. Another key piece of information: THis is the ONLY mod I have downloaded thus far, So for those that thinks if conflicting with another mod subtract that idea from the equation. LFact Posted January 17, 2011 Share Posted January 17, 2011 1. Make sure you installed all the resources correctly.2. If you're using Robert's male body, do not use BP-RM compatibility plugin. Unless you installed Elaborate eyes as well, it is known to cause 'missing eye' problem with current version of Beautiful People.3. Beautiful People replaces default eye meshes/textures with EE eye meshes/textures. So it can cause googly eye problem with other cosmetic/race mod, but won't cause problem with Midas Magic, Elsweyr Anequia, which adds custom races using default eyes only. Could this be because of ArchiveInvalidation? If you haven't 'invalidated' it, it might cause problems with textures. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway, I strongly suggest you download and learn to use OBMM, that is Oblivion mod manager. It is a LIFESAVER. It will save you time and headaches in the future if you decide to start modding your game more.
