Companions and Unlimited Arrows

Well, as the title says, my companions (CM Partners) Have infinite arrows. The companions in question are NOT stock CM partners, but they were created by others. I'm not sure if this affects anything, but It somewhat does ruin the immersion for me, when they have infinite of a super powerful arrow that they should only have 2 or 3 of.

Is there a way to fix this? (I have no experience with the Construction Set, which I'm almost sure might be needed to fix it, but it's probably done by changing the companions one by one)

I'm looking for perhaps some kind of mini-mod or patch that might fix this universally, since I have about 40-50 Companions populating my Battlehorn Castle that might be a pain to change one by one.

EDIT: To save from making another thread, since I'll probably have to use construction Set to fix this issue anyway. One of my companions has Guard AI and seems to like to "Arrest me" when I pick a lock in front of her. Except it brings up the normal dialogue instead of the guard dialogue, so she'll keep initiating conversation with me, over and over, to no end.

Not too sure about the infinite arrows thing. When you say infinite, do you mean a whole lot? Or actually infinite? Have you checked how many they have in their inventory? For the arrows, you may want to open up your partner's inventory in CS and see if they have too many. As for the Guard AI, make sure the companion isn't based off of an actual guard, (i,e, and Imperial Watch, etc.). If it is, I'm pretty sure you can just go to the NPC in question in your CS, and change it's class from Guard, to something else. If that doesn't stop it, you may want to consider looking at it's Factions. If ImperialLegion and/or ImperialWatch are in it's factions, this might make it a guard. Hope this helps. In vanilla Oblivion, NPCs and creatures like Goblins and Skeletons have infinite arrows as long as they have one arrow in inventory. Yes, it is stupid, but that is how the game is designed. I do not know if there is a mod that can fix this, but if there is, it likely uses some pretty advanced OBSE scripting. It would not be too hard to write scripting for one particular companion to remove one particular type of arrows over time or according to various triggers, but I don't know of any appropriate timers or triggers. For example, you would expect your companion to have less arrows after using his bow. But you would be hard pressed to even get a trigger working such as taking arrows away from your companion after each battle, or after after being alert. (So your companion might have less arrows after being startled by a deer and drawing his bow (but not shooting), or after fighting a battle using nothing but his dagger.) This is bad, but better than having your companion lose a certain number of arrows every day or every time you looked at your map or something really random like that.

The factor which is making your companion misbehave and try to arrest you, but fail, is that she is in the guard class. Faction does not matter. Just make her a warrior or knight or something and you will be fine. Or if you like having a goody-two shoes companion and want her to really be able to arrest you when you are naughty, change her race to Imperial and keep her class as Guard.
