blove
Make your changes to the fallout_default.ini and when you start the game it will overwrite the fallout.ini with the fallout_default.ini.
tnu
ok but the default.ini is already not read only so what else do I have to do?
asdfzxc
because otherwise Wrye Flash won't allow me to switch savegame profiles.Assuming you're using Win7: Right click on the .exe, go to "Properties", switch to the "Compatibility" tab, and check "Run As Administrator". Run it, and it'll have write permissions to all the .ini files. Edited January 27, 2011 by asdfzxc

Um... in order to modify Fallout.ini, the program used to edit it needs to have admin privileges, but since I don't actually know the location of the program that runs Flash... sorry, I can't help you (unless you find an alternative that's not Flash/Python/whatever and actually has its own exe).
