Fallout2AM
You don't really need to purchase an english version too, you can simply switch the language via steam. If you want to keep ITA and ENG version, well... I know that MO allows profiles, I never used it but I don't see why I couldn't put 2 different ESMs in 2 profiles. The method I use, instead, is making many copies of the NV folder, something like this:\Common\Fallout New Vegas\Common\Fallout New Vegas2\Common\Fallout New Vegas3etc.They all have different configurations, everytime I rename properly the one I want to run or work with the GECK. So what you are saying, is backup the italian one, uninstall it, switch steam language, and download it back in english? Or will steam allow me to download it twice? Or changing the Steam language does change the language of all the games i already installed? Edited June 2, 2015 by tatocosentino
Fallout2AM
I've never tried having 2 folders with 2 different languages (mine is always in english now), but if I should try it I would do it in this way: - Duplicate the whole NV folder (in italian) and rename it to "Fallout New Vegas ITA" for example- Switch the language in ENG, via Steam, then check the cache, it probably will re-download a part of the game ***NOTE at the bottom***- Start the game and see if it's in ENG and everything works properly.- Switch steam to offline / remove the auto-update features on new vegas, just to be sure that from this point it won't make changes on its own.- Rename this folder in "Fallout New Vegas ENG" and take the previous folder, remove the ITA on the previous folder so that it will be "Fallout New Vegas"- Re-start the game and see if now it's in ITA.- If this worked, you can freely rename the folder you want and it will start with that version.- Since you want to use the GECK in the ENG version, I guess you'll have to modify the GECKPrefs.ini adding "sLanguage=ENGLISH", or at least change from ITALIAN to ENGLISH. I repeat, I never did this for the language, but I do it for the mods, I often have 4-5 folders and I rename the one I want to start with, and since the main difference is FalloutNV.esm I do feel it should work. NOTE: when you will check the steam cache, if you want to be twice sure that ALL the assets will be in english (i.e. voices too), then you probably should move Voices1.BSA in some other place, so that it will try to download it again. When I switched language, it didn't re-download the voices so now I have english subtitles and italian voices
