Philippo
Hello, I recently tried to install a Mod comp but failed miserably, so I decided I would just start anew with OOO, the unofficial patches and Darnified UI (FCOM was too complicated for me to install). Now I was wondering if there was any way to get the mod "Enhanced Daedric Invasion" to work with OOO? I found one thread which told about a way to get it to work with 1.32, but have not found anything about if it works with 1.33. Everything just concerns if it works with FCOM^^. Any help would be greatly appreciated, the mod looks very cool.
Hickory
The description page for EDI states:"For any other mods, the compatability issues are very minor and shouldnt effect gameplay, since they are just some minor faction relationship tweaks." What that means is that you MUST use a Bashed Patch to sort out (amongst other things) the faction relationships, which you should already be doing for OOO anyway. Philippo
Oh noes, really? I thought OOO had a standalone .exe installer (Have not gotten around to reinstalling everything again). I have only used batched patches when I installed TCOM and then I just followed precise instructions, I have no clue what that stuff actually do. Back to the drawing board then... Philippo
Yay! The .exe installer worked perfectly... Now to find a solution for this problem... Btw, my sound is stuttering now on my new install, it seems not to be from the music but from the reverb and enviroment sounds and such.
Philippo
Or actually no, it is from the music that the stuttering comes from, this is not a modification issue though but if I remember correctly I had this problem the last time I played through Oblivion. Maybe it´s a common problem that is easily rectified?
Hickory
What sound card do you have? If it is a Creative card, and you use ALchemy, be sure the settings are correct. If not, try deleting your oblivion.ini and run the game from the launcer, so that your hardware is redetected and oblivion.ini is re-created with default settings.
