AlecTackett117
So I just got my computer built last night and got Fallout NV and wanted to mod it. I have never done anything like this before and for some reason it doesn't work :/I have a couple mods downloaded through NMM and they all say they should interupt each other.I just want to use some armor and weapon mods. Maybe a home and adventure. But they never seem to work.Help please .
jcdenton2012
Wow... uh... you can't just jump right in, mod the game, and expect it to work. No worries, though... you're new to it, and the community is here to help. First off, make sure the game is FULLY updated, and the same goes for the GECK!! Now the easy part, it's pretty much mandatory now for all the cool mods so go ahead and download NVSE, install it, and redivert all the game activators to the NVSE loader. Don't worry, instructions will be listed both on NVSE page and download packet for this goody. Now then, assuming the game is fully patched, you have NVSE properly installed, and you have all the acceptable DLC content for the mods you want to install... then you should be pretty much set. Always remember though, look at the mods download page and make sure you meet ALL the requirements or it won't work at all. Now then, make sure to install NVMM or NMM, so that you can activate or deactive your mods without resorting to the games default modding screen. Come to think of it... have you actually activated your mods thus far using that screen? That might be your problem since you aren't experiencing crashing.
