kirby144
I hope this is the right place to do this I was wanting to commission someone to do a sort of freeze gun weapon design in Fallout New Vegas. I am willing to compensate the person as fairly as they see it. I haven't done 3D modeling. What I would like have is a fog effect on the gun, if the gun could be modeled to be a rifle in shape using a Mcrofusion Cell. Possibly a sort of frost containment around the midsection. If the attached image could be applied to the weapon as part of the texture, done in such a way that would look like a water mark. Edit: If someone could remove the word commission and replace it with request that would be nice as I can't do it on my end. MotoSxorpio
You might want to re-read the Terms of Service and re-think this thread. Handy link: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?app=forums&module=extras§ion=boardrules  :D EDIT: Just in case you have to read it a few times to find the relevant line Do not solicit services from other Nexus members in exchange for monetary compensation or promise of such compensation in connection with content that falls within the scope of a game publishers EULA. For example, this means that you may not recruit modders with the promise of monetary compensation to create a custom .ESP file for you or alter game content that is subject to Bethesdas EULA governing the use of their assets and the Creation Kit. kirby144
Well if that is the case, then this thread should probably be closed or deleted. Thank you for the information. Thank you for pointing that out to me, I didn't find it myself. Edited June 5, 2015 by kirby144
MotoSxorpio
No problem. Its a wordy document. :D
drithius
But, going by the same passage, you can solicit for raw, from scratch models which you would then need to implement in the game yourself. Regardless, it seems like an overly complex policy that will need to be addressed when Paid Modding 2.0 hits.
kirby144
Okay, I just wanted to try to compensate the person for the hard work, if it is possible for someone to make a raw model with a basic shiny looking texture that would be nice.
maybenexttime
drithius is right. You can pay the person to make the model and texture but its up to you to convert it to nif and dds. And than rig the weapon yourself.
Klicksend95
I'd be willing to attempt to make the model for you, granted, it'll have to be created from Vanilla bits as I don't have time to make a model from scratch. I can also set it up in the GECK and such, if you're still wanting the mod. Edited June 5, 2015 by Klicksend95
kirby144
That would be nice, I was wanting to incorporate in a mod that I am already working on. I think I could actually incorporate the mod work that you did into my mod and just credit you with the work done on your end.
