Need someone with a caring heart to help me out

Hey Everyone! Just got me New Vegas and I must say this game is damn boring! Can someone PLEASE help me mod this game to the best way I want it to be?

 

I'm sure you are saying..."Do it yourself buddy", "Do a search and find what you want and read up on each mod" etc etc etc.

 

I say..."Easier said than done". LOL

 

I'm a 41 year old man with 4 children, 2 dogs and a wife. I have one full time job and 2 part time jobs. When I'm not working, I'm either eating, sleeping, on the toilet, spending WHATEVER time I can with the children and wife. So YOU tell me when the hell it is that I'm going to have ANY time to do searching on this site for mods. Whatever free time I have (which is NONE), I want to spend it at least playing for 30 minutes each morning before everyone wakes up and kills it for me. As you can see, my time is limited. So I really need help in someone being kind enough to just point me in the right direction.

 

Just please let me know which mods I need (links would save me a whole lot of time). That way I can just download them and start playing.

 

I'm not a young guy like most of you are. I don't have a lot of free times on my hands. So therefore, please help me. Help me in making this BORING New Vegas more fun for me. Without me having to waste hours and days NEVER playing the game because I was too busy "searching" for mods.

 

What mods am I looking for???? Not much to be honest. I'm looking for ONLY a handful per category I ask for. I don't want to bombard my computer or precious time by downloading and downloading and downloading.

 

 

 

1- Need essential mods. Like patches or anything that is necessary to have. Officials etc etc

 

2-Weapons and Armor. Just a handful please

 

3-Gameplay effects. I need mods that make the game more manlier. LOL More action going on. Faster paced. More dramatic etc etc. Improve VATS etc.

 

4-Visuals. Would like the whole landscaping, weather, skies, characters to look MUCH better.

 

5- Sound and Music. Better sounds and music

 

6- User interface. Something different, better

 

7-Last but not least. Adult themes.

 

 

 

Pretty much make the game much more adult themed badass with lots of more action and more goodies to find. Speed the game up! Make it more violent. This vanilla game is bland, dull, slow and boring.

 

Can someone please help me out?

i'll try my best to give you some good mods that you'd like

 

well, i'll start with the last for two reasons

the first is that i don't know all to many of these, and the second is because there is an easy list for you to scan through, and find what you are looking for

this list is the Top 100 Adult mods on the New Vegas Nexus, which is sure to have some of the mods that you are looking for

can't recommend any specific adult content mods (aside from the awesome Beware Of Girl Type 3 HD body, which is just stunningly amazing :tongue:)

but i'm sure that you can find some good mods on this list

 

as for the other types, i'll do my best

 

you mentioned you want a mod that improves VATS

i would say that if you really want good action, lose VATS, and get DK_BulletTime instead

it gives you much better action, and it makes the game much more fun

 

also, for some more realistic (and deadly) combat, you could get Realistic Headshots

 

for a much more appealing wasteland, i would strongly suggest you get Fellout

it truly makes the game look that much more fun

 

if you want something serious, you could get FOOK, which should add some new weapons and armors, and make the game more fun (or so i believe, but i haven't tried it myself)

though if it is like the FO3 FOOK, then it should be quite awesome

 

if you want something to give your weapons a nice kick, WMX is probably your best choice (and Antistar makes quality stuff, so you can count on this mod working well, and being awesome)

also, Antistar has a nice mod for armors, DTO, which you may like

 

unfortunately, i can't think of any other mods like you are asking for, but i hope that what i have suggested is good enough for you :)

if you have some time, i would recommend you to scan through the Top 100 Most Endorsed Mods list, and see if there is anything else that you may like

if i could recommend something, New Vegas Bounties I (the second mod on that list) is a great quest mod, and should give you some fun time in New Vegas

I just got a call from my next door neighbor. He just told me not to waste my time with New Vegas for a while. And to instead enjoy my free time for the meantime. Why? Because he said a mod called "Project Nevada" was going to come out soon. And that this mod would be the ONLY mod I would ever need.

This "Project Nevada" is a very clever marketing campaign which appears to have launched yesterday. I look forward to seeing any release date. Many cool-looking things are announced which turn out to be vaporware.

I say mod your own to your game liking. I am. Turn the difficulty up, and work it out. Otherwise get into MMPOG. I did, but have to cancel a subscription for funds.

I"m confused what you are trying to say Davidlallen. Vaporware? What do you mean? Guys, I just really wish I had the time to sit down and read up on each mod. And then download it and install it. And then HOPE it doesn't crash with other mods. This is very time consuming. With the very little bit of time I have. I rather use that little time to at least play. And experience fun! My life is very hectic and busy. And because of this, I only get to sleep around 4-5 hours a night. Which isn't healthy at all. Doc said I need to increase my sleep by at least another hour or two. And I NEED to have some sort of FUN at least ONE hour a day in order to prevent a break down. Or go into serious depression from my busy life. Without SOME sort of fun for at least an hour a day. Humans begin to experience depression and lack of joy. I rather have some sort of boring fun with Vanilla New Vegas for at least 3O minutes a day. As opposed to working on getting mods for 3O minutes per day.

 

If I don't do something FUN for myself and by myself for at least an HOUR a day. I begin to become flat, dull and boring. And then I start to get cranky and moody. And then I begin to think negative and pessimistic.

 

When I used to play Oblivion. That Oscuros Oblivion Overhaul mod was a lifesaver for me. One download and that was it!

A trailer for Project Nevada suddenly showed up on every forum and review site, this weekend. There is no known release date. Unfortunately, sometimes large-scale fan projects slow down and stop before releasing anything.

It is made by the FWE team supposedly, so I doubt it will be a tease with nothing to come of it.

As great as FWE is, I don't think it's the only mod you'll ever need, either.

I like how the dog comes before your wife ^^b I would recommend Arwen tweaks for tougher gameplay.
